It operates 175 restaurants in the United States. 165 are called The Cheesecake Factory while the other 13 are named Grand Lux Cafe. One is called the RockSugar pan Asian Kitchen. The Cheesecake Factory also has two bakery centers located in Rocky Mount, North Carolina and Calabasas, California. The company's baked goods and cheesecakes are also sold in Barnes & Noble cafes. The first Cheesecake Factory location opened in Beverly Hills, California in 1978. It was founded by David M. Overton, who still works as the company's Chairman and CEO. The restaurant's menu includes burgers, pasta, pizza, steaks, sandwiches, cheesecakes and more.
