Men's Wearhouse was founded in 1973 by George Zimmer. A purveyor of men's dress apparel, the company operates under several banners, including Men's Wearhouse, Moores Clothing for Men, Twin Hill Corporate Apparel and K&G Superstores. In addition to suits and business attire, Men's Wearhouse also offers tuxedo rentals, in a range of sizes and styles, for men and boys. The Men's Wearhouse slogan is easily remembered thanks to the chain's commercials in which founder Zimmer explains, "You're going to like the way you look; we guarantee it."
The majority of applicants that interview for a position at Men's Wearhouse report a positive interview experience. Potential employees can expect a fairly straightforward interview process consisting of a face-to-face or group interview with a store manager in which standard interview questions are posed. An example might include a question such as, "What is the most important aspect of making a sale: the merchandise or the salesperson's ability?" Management positions may be required to take a personality test, be asked to submit to a drug test and participate in a group interview. Potential employees can apply online or in person, and phone interviews are sometimes conducted.
