Olive Garden is an Italian-American inspired restaurant chain that had its start in Orland, Florida in 1982. Opened by General Mills, the chain was widly successful in its first seven years, expanding to 145 locations; this put it on the road to being the most successful restaurant among the company's subsidiaries. Olive Garden was later sold to Darden Restaurants, Inc. Today there are about 750 Olive Garden locations around the world, making it the largest and most profitable restaurant in the US with an Italian theme. Olive Garden serves a variety of pasta dishes, in addition to steak, fish, salad, bread sticks and desserts.

What to Expect When Interviewing
